GEOSURV-Iraq aims to:
*Participate in supporting the national economy
in the fields of mineral exploration and
Investigation, developing and improving of the
mineral resources within the Iraqi territory
and its full national frontiers.
*Documentation, treatment and management of
mineral and geological information in order to
promote and develop the mineral industry, in its
all stages.
*Supervising the execution of the valid mineral
exploitation organizing law.
*Contribution in sustainable development
projects, which deal with different
specialization of Earth Sciences.
*Presentatation of consultations and documented
scientific information to both public and
private sectors, which contribute in the
development of Iraq community, depending on
updated scientific procedures .
